Our Sustainability Purpose

At Kinrise we are dedicated to creating moments of joy. We care deeply about people, we are proud of our food, and we strive to do better for the planet.

We care about people

We care about the safety and wellbeing of our people. Our focus is on building an engaged, diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive and be at their best.

We aspire to make a positive impact in the communities where we work.

“Our commitment to caring for our people goes beyond just being a strategic pillar; it’s a core part of our values and who we are. I truly believe that the safety, wellbeing, and inclusiveness of our workplace are the foundation of our success. By fostering an environment where diversity flourishes and everyone feels valued, we unlock the full potential of our team.”

We care about our food

We care about the quality and safety of our food and doing business in the right way. Our ambition is to source sustainable, local ingredients. We provide food transparency to help our consumers make informed choices.

“Here at Kinrise, we create moments of joy. At the heart of this, is our food and we are obsessed with quality. This obsession drives us, our suppliers and the wider Kinrise family in everything we do.”

General Manager of Quality, Safety and Sustainability

We care about the planet

We support the circular economy through transitioning our packaging to be reusable, recyclable or compostable. We work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our supply chain and we focus relentlessly on effective energy management. We drive the reduction of waste in all its forms.

“We understand the increasing prioritisation of environmental responsibility among our people, consumers and key stakeholders and we are passionate about making more sustainable choices in our business. We know that embracing a circular economy approach in relation to things like packaging optimisation, food waste management and decarbonisation of production processes will all contribute to a more sustainable world and future. We want to be part of that positive change.”
